Children's Discovery Museum

Had a lovely day at CDM.
The kids are old enough now where they understand that they can't run off in opposite directions. Evan was great asking Simone if she was ready to go somewhere new cause we need to stay together.

Evan had a blast working as part of a team in a Bob the builder exhibit that had one kid "pumping" water (blue balls) and two faucets on the other end where a kid at each faucet would turn the faucet handle to make the water come out into a bucket. Then when the bucket was full, he would dump it out into the well so that it could be pumped back out again. He spent 20 minutes there and only left because I offered a snack.

Simone happily spent the 20 minutes finding opportunities for reinforcing the lesson of not grabbing other kids toys.

My favorite part may have been Simone's exuberance - She kept saying over and over "we are at the "OOODEUM" Yeah, OOODEUM!!!"
