8 Months old

Hi There!!

I can't believe my little sister is 8 months old already!

Simone is changing so much every day. Each day she discovers even more how funny I am. I love to make her laugh. She's very ticklish, but all I have to do is look at her to make her laugh. Sometimes she laughs so hard, she snorts.

She's quite a good conversationalist. She repeats every high pitched squeal I make. (We like to talk in dolphin language until it drives Mom crazy) Simone also likes to talk in Lion language. Boy can she ROAR!! Sometimes she is super cutsie and says da da da da, bababa, mamama, but most of the time she roars or raspberries.

She's finally figured out how to play my favorite game: chase! If I get down on the floor and crawl, she'll chase me all around the house - it's easy to know how close she is to catching me cause she breathes really loudly and quickly through her nose. We both love to play choo choo train.

Simone is still not so fond of solid food, although she is continuously scouring the floor for anything to choke on. Mom always tells me to keep trying when I am learning a new skill, but for some reason I always have to remind Mom to feed Simone baby food. I Love to help Simone eat.

Simone loves it when I help out.

Simone has 4 teeth. Two on top and two on the bottom. She can now walk (cruise) along the couch as long as she has 1 hand on the couch to steady herself. She surprised everyone the other day, by following us up the stairs.
