I'm 11 months old!

I'm 11 months old and surprising Mom & Dad every day with my brilliance and being.

I am a walker! I walk like a drunken sailor with my hands above my head toddling, babbling, and often falling in delight everywhere.

I see and am curious about everything. I love to show Mom & Dad all the great things in the world by pointing to them.

I have discovered "outside" and at least once daily demand to go outside so I can play in the leaves, smell and pick the flowers, point at all the birds and call them "dog" (until Mom corrects me and I repeat after her "br") and taste dirt.

I am a great communicator! - Mom & Dad have been teaching me sign language and I have quickly mastered each sign they have taught me - They need to learn more signs to teach me because pointing and grunting is frustrating.
I know that keys and a jacket mean wave "Bye Bye"
I can now ask to have my diaper changed (I don't like having a poopy diaper)
I ask for milk, I ask for food, and I ask for "more" food.
I can say time for sleep
I can say when I am "done" Done eating, done sleeping, done with being in the car, when the book is done, I like knowing how to say done :)

My favorite time of day is bath time and running around the house naked afterwards.

My favorite game is peek a boo.

I love to help Mommy do the laundry, I sort clothes, drop them in the washer and dryer, and pull them out of the dryer. I also like to put the dirty clothes in the hamper. One day Mom will let me play with the lint.

My favorite book is "Baby Faces" My favorite page in the book is the first page - Happy Baby, usually I like the book to end and restart right there, but sometimes I let Mommy continue reading cause she really loves it when I give her a kiss on the "kissing baby" page.

My favorite foods are grapefruit, chicken, and pasta with egg & vegetables. Mom is holding out on giving me more oranges - During the superbowl, I ate 5 oranges at once and wanted more! I also couldn't stop rocking and jumping and squealing - Mom said I was having a sugar high.

I love to try new foods - especially if Mom or Dad is eating it - We went out to eat at an Indian restaurant and it was yummy!

Mom and Dad recently celebrated their 1 year anniversary - they flew to Las Vegas and saw "O" cirque du soliel and went out to eat at Rao's - don't they look very happy? I was fine at home - Meagan, Marrissa and Heather took great care of me - I even slept well!

My next birthday I will be 1 year old!! Mom and Dad are planning on having a party to celebrate it on March 16. Hope to see you all there!

Love,

Spike (don't I look tough with my new boo boo?)
